Calendar Type

Which type is best?

HighLevel has added a few new calendar types recently, and you may be wondering: "which type should I use for my calendar sync?". We have reviewed the documentation and these are our recommendations. The calendar type will mainly depend on whether or not you need to assign the booking to a user from your team in HighLevel, and how many team members are assigned to your GHL calendar.

No User Assignment Needed: Simple Calendar

This might be a simple class booking where it doesn't matter who is running the class in the studio, and the booking can be added to a Highlevel calendar without assigning to any user. A Simple Calendar will get the job done without any extra options that are not needed.

Single User Assignment Needed for an Appointment: Round Robin Calendar

If you need to assign the booking to a single member of your team in HighLevel a Round Robin calendar with just the one team member added to the Group is a great way to go. If that user is booked in one calendar at a specific day/time that user will not show as available in any other calendars at that same day/time, which is usually what you want.

Single User Assignment Needed for a Class: Class Booking Calendar

The Class Booking calendar is designed for a "many to one" relationship. So if you need to assign a class to be handled by a team member in GHL this calendar is a good choice.

Multiple Users Assigned for an Appointment: Round Robin Calendar

If you have an appointment that could be assigned to any one of a number of staff members in Mindbody and you want to make sure to assign it to the same person in HighLevel you need to use a Round Robin calendar, and you need to select the option to "Map Multiple" team members in your calendar configuration. The image below shows where to find that setting.
